In this section, we will show you how to connect your Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word files.
When adding a PowerPoint or Word destination for the first time in Rollstack, you will be asked to authorize your Microsoft OneDrive account.
You will then be prompted to authorize your OneDrive. If your organization requires admin consent for authorizing third-party applications like Rollstack, you will be prompted with this screen:
Once the request is submitted, it will require approval from your organization's Microsoft administrator.
Rollstack has only access to the files you explicitly add in the future inside Rollstack.
For admins to review and approve access requests, please follow these instructions, detailed further in this Microsoft documentation:
Log in to the Microsoft Entra admin center with at least Cloud Application Administrator privileges.
Go to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
Select Admin consent requests under Activity.
Click on the My Pending tab to see and act on pending requests.
Choose the application for which access is being requested.
Select Review permissions and consent.
Finally, review the request and confirm.
The scope of the request is limited to these delegated scopes:
- Sign users in
- View users' email address
- Have full access to all files the user can access
- View users' basic profile information
- Edit or delete items in all site collections (specific to SharePoint)
To add a PowerPoint or Word destination, head back to Rollstack:
Open the Destinations page
Click on Add destination
Select PowerPoint or Word
You can now start adding visualizations to your presentation or document
