Sharing & Collaboration
You can share destinations with your organization team members inside Rollstack. This will allow you to see the same destination settings and build collaboratively.
Sharing within Rollstack is only supported for users inside your organization and not for external users.
You can share destinations with your teammates using the Share button available on both 1/ the context menu or 2/ the destination page
You can either provide either a Viewer or Editor role
The roles that are attached on Rollstack will automatically propagate to the destination itself.
If you provide a Viewer or Editor role to the user, we will automatically assign the same role on the destination platform too

*Editors can update others' syncs if they have valid authorization from the data source (you can find more information in the next section)
On shared destinations, you can edit shared visualizations (e.g. that are not your own) if you fulfill the following conditions:
- You have the same data source instance
- Both the Owner's and the Editor's credentials have access to the same underlying resources
The table below details which resources are needed for each data source
Data Source | Resource |
---|---|
Tableau | Workbook & View |
Looker | Dashboard & Filters |
Metabase | Dashboard & Filters |
You can track the activity log of each destination on the Activity tab of the destination page.
