You can share collections with your organization team members inside Rollstack. Depending on the role you select, users will be able to either manage the full collection or only be able to create their variants inside this collection.

Share collections

Sharing within Rollstack is only supported for users inside your organization and not for external users.

You can share collections with your teammates using the Share button available on both 1/ the context menu or 2/ the destination page

Admin vs Contributor

You can set users either as Collection admins or as contributors.

Admin:

A collection admin has full control over a collection's "blueprint". In essence, they can:

  • Edit collection template
  • Edit collection important settings (secondary filters, empty visualizations handling, file location ...)

A collection admin can see and has access to all the variants created in a collection

Finally, the collection owner (creator of the collection) has the same permissions as a collection admin.

Contributor:

A collection contributor can only create variants following the collection's predefined template and settings. Contributors do not see and cannot edit each other's variants unless they specifically choose to do so (via sharing).
