What should I do if I am unable to connect my data source instance?

Connectivity issues are often due to restrictions from VPNs or firewalls. Our enterprise offerings include specialized network configurations to facilitate these connections. We recommend scheduling a consultation with our sales team to explore tailored solutions.

Why does the formatting of my visualization change after Rollstack updates it?

Rollstack updates may not preserve external formatting due to the platform's inability to recognize these settings. To ensure consistency, use Rollstack's built-in formatting tools, such as cropping, which are designed to maintain the integrity of your visualization post-update. For further assistance with formatting, our support team is ready to help.

Why are my filters not being applied when I use Collections?

This issue typically occurs when the filter names in your Collections differ from those in your target visualizations or dashboards. Double-check that these names are an exact match. Reviewing the filter configurations for accuracy if differences persist can help resolve the issue.

I'm having trouble finding some visualizations when using the 'Apply to Many' feature for filter updates. Why is that?

The Apply to Many function works seamlessly when visualizations are extracted from dashboards with matching filter names. If a visualization is missing, verify that the dashboard from which it was extracted shares the same filter name as the one you're attempting to update. This ensures a smooth bulk update process.

What should I do if I receive a permission error while trying to add a destination?

Receiving a permission error indicates that you might not have the necessary rights to perform this action. Confirm that you have editing permissions for the destination in question, as viewer rights are insufficient for adding destinations. Adjusting your permission level or contacting an administrator may be required to resolve this issue.

Why are my Looker dashboard overlays not aligned with the actual visualizations?

When you select the visualizations on a Looker dashboard, you should see overlays perfectly aligned with your dashboard.

If that is not the case, it means that your Looker layout contains invalid or corrupt data. This can happen when Looker does not properly ingest your latest layout modifications, which in turn introduces invalid data.

To fix it, you need to re-save your dashboard. Here is a video example of the process
